I was drawn by the strict red German architecture in Zelenogradsk. I wished to take it back to the past, because in my view, its restraint does not go with the local reckless modern life at all. To do that I chose a strict style, grey and red coloring, and erased the modern tinsel of kiosks and soap-like cars from the face of the town. There was a strong fog in the town owing to the nearness of the sea, and from the roofing of the red building of the post office where constantly emerging swallows circled above the roofs – so natural features for the Kranz.
