Recently I was nominated by artist Raeburn for the Around the World Creative Blog Hop, a flashmob, connecting
artists around the world. Everyone who has been nominated should answer the four questions and to nominate three other artists.
artists around the world. Everyone who has been nominated should answer the four questions and to nominate three other artists.
What am I working on?
Now I am finishing several works which I made in Kaliningrad, a European region of Russia, which is
on the north. The place is really beautifull with its German architecture and sea. Also I am finishing my ph.d. diploma work and working a lot on the art lessons section.
How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I think, I pay much more attention to the color and tone balance in works than average. Also for me is very important to express the feeling of the place, as well as slightly known details and effects of natural environment. And I pay a lot of attention to the painting tecnique, making my artworks durable over decades. However, probably I should say that the what is most special part is that I try to find it’s own appropriate tecnique and solution for each subject.
Why do I create what I do?
When I was a schoolboy, in the same time I began to admire composers very much. I was thinking that Beethoven had written his Moonlight Sonata and after two hundred years, it still appeals to people – they experience it over and over again. Then I understood that I want to create something as much amazing, but I happen to have painting at my disposal.
How does my creative process work?
It depends. Sometimes the idea goes first. Sometimes I see the nature and it gives me idea and tecnique. Sometimes I search for idea and nature, knowing technique. What for the practical details, you can watch it here.
